TASTING NOTES
Intense ruby red color. Pronounced aromas of very ripe red fruits and orange blossom flowers in the memory.
Pleasant palate with elegant wood, it offers us a lively sensation, with mature and balanced tannins, which offer a long and delicate aftertaste.
VINIFICATION
A meticulous selection is made from the oldest vineyards with the lowest yields. These plots are cultivated with bush vines, which are hand-harvested by our farmers. Our extreme climate and the poverty of the soil do the rest. The destemmed and crushed grapes are fermented at 28ºC.
The wine is macerated with the grape skins in 800 kg bocoy barrels until the time comes to transfer it to new French oak barrels made in various cooperages, usually in France. It remains in the barrel for 12 months, after which it is bottled and rests for six months without clarification or tartaric stabilisation.
Sediments may therefore appear which do not affect the organoleptic quality of the wine.
